Bisque socket head with very elongated cheeks and chin, inset blue glass eyes with spiral threading, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, feathered brows, mauve-blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with upturned lip corners in slight smile, impressed dimples at philtrum and chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body, lovely mauve silk costume, ivory silk ruffled bonnet, leather shoes impressed L.G. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2/0 B.M. Comments: French, Mothereau, circa 1884. Value Points: very distinctive modeling is most enchanting, and enhanced by beautiful bisque and painting.
