12" (30 cm.) Carved wooden socket head with slender angular face, incised age wrinkles on forehead, bald pate with black painted pate at back crown, carved and tinted facial details, cloth body, wooden hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese Wooden Door of Hope Mission, circa 1925. Value Points: especially fine detail of carving, wearing original silk costume.
