Composition socket head, sculpted black hair with pointed forelock curl, long nose, over-sized ears, painted blue downcast eyes, closed mouth in wide smile, composition torso with painted costume, wooden segment-jointed body allowing for very flexible articulation, large brown wooden feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Pinocchio, Des. & C. by Walt Disney Made by Ideal Novelty & Toy Co (label on torso). Comments: Ideal, circa 1940. Value Points: wonderfully preserved example of the beloved character.
