Bisque socket head, large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, widely-arched brushstroked brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, pretty ivory silk dress, undergarments, shoes, stockings. Condition: generally excellent, early light body repaint. Marks: Depose E 5 J (and artist checkmark). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885. Value Points: especially beautiful face with amber brown eyes enhanced by rich decoration, lovely antique wig.
