20" (51 cm.) Poured wax shoulderhead in nestled pose, blue glass inset eyes, brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with lightly-tinted lips, blonde hair inserted in delicate tendrils, original softly-stuffed muslin body, poured wax lower arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: very good, some fading of features. Marks: (original faint oval label on torso). Comments: England, circa 1880. Value Points: the gentle-faced doll is presented in early childhood trunk along with additional dresses and undergarments.
