Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, large blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips, shapely torso and legs, stitched and separated fingers, wearing emerald green velvet and silk gown, undergarment, leather slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 0 (head) 0 Depose (left shoulder) B Jne & Cie (right shoulder). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1865. Value Points: large luminous eyes with superb painting of lashes, brows and dark eyeliner, elaborate coiffure on the original pale blonde mohair wig, original turquoise earrings, original silverplate miniature chatelaine with accessories.
