12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted small blue downcast eyes, black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 30 101. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, the model "Marie" from the firm's art character series. Value Points: wonderful example of the sought-after doll in pristine unplayed with condition, original wig, body, body finish, and fine original folklore costume, and with especially well-modeled pouting expression especially around the eyes and mouth, finest quality of bisque.
