22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, dimpled chin and philtrim, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, pretty antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, original firing line at left pierced ear hole. Marks: 9 B. M. Comments: Mothereau, circa 1882. Value Points: the compelling innocent expression is achieved by beautifully-threaded blue eyes and delicately tinted complexion on the rarely found doll.
