Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, very deep brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked brows with feathered detail, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, light brown mohair wig over cork pate, French kid bebe body with kid-over wooden upper arms, bisque arms below the elbow, Chevrot hinged hips, wooden lower legs. Condition: there is a faint hairline at the lower back neck with professional imperceptible over-paint, otherwise excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 2 (head) No. 2 Bru Jne (shoulderplate) Bebe Bru Bte SGDG ...(original paper label on torso). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1885. Value Points: especially beautiful face with choice bisque, complexion, luminous brown eyes, original signed body and perfect bisque hands.
