Description
Of very pale blue linen, the gown has flat front with shaped sides, angled button closure with handmade buttonholes on the unusual flap design and with brass buttons, very full bishop sleeves with self-cording at the shoulders which extends down side seams and forms three full-length cords at the back. There is a shaped pocket, knife pleats, knife pleats at the hem, and a double row of knife pleats at the back hem. Generous lace accents the dress overall. To fit 22" doll. 5" shoulder width. 12" relaxed waist. 18" overall length. Circa 1865.
