12" (30 cm.) Carved wooden head, painted side-parted hair with detailed side-locks, carved and painted facial features with slightly-darkened complexion, tinted eyes and lips, firmly-stuffed muslin body, wooden hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese Door of Hope Mission, circa 1920. Value Points: representing a policeman, he is wearing original double-breasted blue serge jacket with white embroidery and brass buttons, trousers, tall black boots, and is one of rarest figures to find from the series.
