20" (51 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, pale blue spiral-threaded glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, early original composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 10 H 908. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: very rare early model with distinctive wide-eyed expression, beautiful eyes, choice delicate bisque, antique woolen dress with braid and lace trim, bonnet, undergarments, socks, leather shoes.
