15" (38 cm.) Very firm composition socket head, painted brown hair with tendrils of curls onto forehead, painted features, outlined blue eyes, thick black upper eyeliner, painted lashes, smoky eyeshadow, single stroke brows, closed mouth, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: V 1. Comments: Munich Art Doll, from the studio of Marion Kaulitz, sculpted by artist Paul Vogelsanger, circa 1908. Value Points: compelling characterization with artful painting and sculpting, wearing original folklore costume.
