Solid domed bisque socket head with high domed forehead, brushstroked hair, deeply-modeled forelock curls and side curls above the ears, blue glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with wide beaming smile, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, black velvet suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 172 - 9. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, circa 1918. Value Points: captivating Kewpie-like broad smile with deeply-modeled dimples at sides of cheeks, well-modeled forelock and side curls.
