15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder head, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde human hair over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 (head and shoulders). Comments: French, circa 1870. Value Points: delicate features enhanced by dramatic large eyes, sturdy original body, wearing silk coral gown with black lace trim, undergarments, shoes and stockings.
