12" (30 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta ox with painted black and cream hide, patches of cream around the eyes, muzzle and dewdrop, enamel eyes, defined hooves, tail, mane, ears and horns. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, late 1700s/early 1800s, attributed to Francesco Gallo who was a modeler at the Royal Porcelain Factory specializing in animals.
