Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lightly-feathered brows and lashes, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded lips, ears pierced into head, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with shapely torso, gusset-jointing at hips and knees, wooden arms articulated at shoulders and elbows, antique walking suit, undergarments, leather ankle boots. Condition: bisque head excellent, shoulderplate original yet with strange glazed finish, arms repainted. Comments: French, circa 1865. Value Points: very fine quality of facial bisque, complexion and painting, original wig, sturdy kid.
