17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, all-wooden poupee body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Condition: bisque excellent, body structurally excellent albeit painted finish is worn. Comments: French, circa 1870. Value Points: lovely bisque and painting, wooden body, wearing antique gown with extended train, undergarments, stockings, shoes.
