16" (41 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes with darker blue outer rims, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, four tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, kid gusset-jointed body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 8. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1885, mystery maker. Value Points: the doll is wearing her original muslin chemise with lace trim, undergarments, silk dress with matching bonnet.
