17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows in delicate arch, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French stretched-kid-over-wooden fully-articulated body with jointing at shoulders, hips, and knees, bisque arms to above the elbows, separately-sculpted fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1870. Value Points: very beautiful poupee with rich cobalt eyes, rare body in wonderfully-preserved condition.
