Description
25" (64 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde brushstroked boyish hair with forelock details, blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, dark eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth modeled as though open, with defined tongue, outlined lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent, body repainted. Marks: Germany K&H (in banner) 548 15. Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1912. Value Points: outstanding sculpting especially around the eye corners and with impressed dimples in cheeks and at lip corners, wearing wonderful antique green flannel uniform with red trim and brass buttons.
