22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes short brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent, two fingers missing. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 115/A 60. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, the model marketed as "Phillip" from their art character reform series. Value Points: the endearing wistful expression is enhanced by very fine luminous complexion, wearing fine antique costume of red wool and velvet, undergarments, socks and shoes.
