14" (36 cm.) Solid-domed bisque socket head, narrow brown glass inset eyes with deeply-sculpted laughter crinkles around the eyes, painted brown curly lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with slightly-parted shaded lips, row of porcelain teeth, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 224 Paris 4. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: rarer model from the character series with well-preserved flocked hair, especially well-rendered character expression with fine bisque, original body finish.
