18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with sculpted blue scarf loosely draped over her sculpted blonde curls, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blushed cheeks, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower limbs, painted orange ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent, thumb tip chipped on right hand. Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, their 894 model, circa 1870, the model is known as "Blue Scarf Lady". Value Points: beautiful painting with delicate bisque and artfully flowing scarf and hair.
