15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, blue eyes with shaded details, black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth appearing as though open with painted row of teeth, smiling expression, shaded and accented lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed in antique school dress and red leather ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 151 S&H 0. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910, from their very rare art character series. Value Points: exceptional modeling for this petite size, with very choice bisque and painting, original body and body finish, carrying little antique "Ups and Downs" book.
