11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head with sculpted green finial helmet over brown painted hair, blue glass side-glancing googly eyes, painted short lashes, dark eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips in wide smile, dimpled chin, composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed in grey uniform. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Dep Elite D 1. Comments: Max Handwerck, circa 1918, from their series of helmet googlies. Value Points: rare googly model with choice bisque and painting.
