12" (30 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead of woman with sculpted hair waved back into coiled bun, enamel eyes, two sculpted teeth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted red stockings, green clogs, wearing original costume, and carrying polychromed terra cotta rooster with black bead eyes. Figure excellent, costume very worn. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
