19" (49 cm.) Bisque socket head with well-defined facial features, brown glass sleep eyes, thickly fringed painted upper lashes on heavily modeled eyelids, original mohair lashes, one stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, two beaded upper teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique print dress, pinafore, stockings, undergarments, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 112 49. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, from their art character series. Value Points: the glass-eyed variation of the 112 art character has original lashes, outstanding sculpting enhanced by fine shading of complexion and rich decorative glaze on lower lip; original body and body finish,original wig.
