11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head with chubby round face, sculpted blue top hat with wide brim and embossed stars, brown painted hair, brown side-glancing googly eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with comma-shaped beaming smile, composition toddler body with jointing at shoulders and hips, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Dep Elite U.S. 1. Comments: Max Handwerck, from their series of sculpted-cap googlies, circa 1918. Value Points: rare model with delightful expression, well-modeled Uncle Sam hat.
