18" (46 cm.) All brown cotton fabric with flat-dimensional face, embroidered features including wide side-glancing eyes with stitched lashes and brows, red heart-shaped nose, wide smiling lips, stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips, stitched-on striped stockings and red shoes, and wearing original costume and bandanna. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American, early 1900s, representing Beloved Belindy from the Raggedy Ann series of Johnny Gruelle. Value Points: wonderful doll with delightful facial embroidery.
