Description
13" (33 cm.) and 16". Each has a composition socket head with "devil" horns at the crown hidden among with mohair wig, the girl with darkened complexion and brown glass eyes, the boy with painted features, each with smiling expression, composition body and original costumes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 491 2/0. Comments: the dolls depict Lucinka, a mischievous child with devil horns whose story was told in a 1930s Czech children's book; a copy of the book is included; the dolls were displayed in the Puppen and Spielzeug Museum of Vienna Austria.
