8" (20 cm.) Lithographed tin three-wheeled carriage simulating porter-driven wicker beach cars of early 20th century Atlantic City, is being pushed by black porter with painted tin uniform and cap. When wound, the wheels turn, propelling the carriage as the porter appears to briskly walk along. Marked "Rollo-Car, Trademark, Riding on the Boardwalk, Atlantic City, Marke-stocke". Very good condition, mechanism needs adjustment. Germany, circa 1920.
