20" (51 cm.) Auburn wig with curled chignon, curls at the crown and straight bangs with blue velvet ribbon accent at the back of hair. Wearing tagged sweeping gown of lace over heavy blue faille, fully lined circular skirt, velvet sash caught at the waist with a floral corsage, white Orlon satin lined fur stole, pale blue paper taffeta and tulle slip, pale blue taffeta panties trimmed with Val lace, seamed nylon hose, silver high heels, fingerless opera gloves, rhinestone bracelet, ring and with triple stone drop rhinestone earrings. Near mint condition. Alexander, model 2172, 1957, wrist tag, original box. Pristine condition, with beautiful painted finish having high cheek coloring. The doll was described in the 1957 catalog as "elegantly gowned for the opera in a most unusual gown...all this and glimmering jewels besides".
