7 1/2" (19 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, four porcelain teeth, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted black stockings to above the knees, brown five-lace heeled shoes, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 886 SH. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890, the model is known as "black-stocking girl". Value Points: large size of the 886 model, fine quality of bisque and painting.
