8" (20 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, sculpted light brown hair with topknot and detailed forehead curls, intaglio blue side-glancing eyes, closed mouth with impish crooked smile, tongue tip, impressed dimples, composition bent limb baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7911 Heubach (in square) 2/0 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: well-modeled characterization of cheerful child, wearing embroidered antique costume and bib, along with his velvet pup with glass googly eyes.
