Bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, all-wooden fully-articulated wooden poupee body with jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, separately-carved fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: French, circa 1865. Value Points: rare all-articulated wooden body with original finish, beautiful pale bisque, fine antique costume comprising mauve and cream early skirt, white blouse, undergarments, stockings, black kidskin slippers, woven bonnet with velvet flowers, and carrying a miniature basket with tiny purple flowers.
