16" (41 cm.) Solid domed carved wooden socket head, painted brushstroked hair, painted blue eyes, single-stroke brows, pug nose, closed mouth with downcast lips, all wooden body with one-piece arms shaped with bent elbows, one-piece legs with hip hinging, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, original finish with light craze lines on face. Marks: Schoenhut Walkable Doll Patents USA Jan 17,1911 USA Jan 17,1911, Dec. 30, 1919, and Mar 23, 1920. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1925. Value Points: rare body model designed to allow "walk along" play.
