18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass spiral-threaded eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips, knees and elbows. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 (head and shoulders) F.G. (shoulders). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: handsome gentleman, excellent bisque, very sturdy body, wearing antique gentleman's costume with top hat, saddle shoes, and umbrella.
