Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) - 5 1/2". Each is all-wooden doll with one-piece head and shapely torso, painted black hair with shaded curls around the face, painted facial features, dowel-jointed shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, with original costumes. Condition: very good, some typical craquelure. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1840. Value Points: the early dollhouse dolls are preserved with bentwood box, along with a pair of early chairs.
