16" (41 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast pouting lips, center accent line, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7246 Germany 6 Heubach (sunburst mark, head) (holz-masse stamp on back torso). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: wonderfully-featured wistful character with finest bisque, original body and body finish, antique costume includes straw hat with original label "Genuine English Eton Boater".
