Description
13" (34 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, mohair lashes, brush-stroked brows with feathering, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Simon & Halbig 34. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1900. Value Points: pretty child doll with rare original lashes, original body and body finish, has original trunk with an assortment of costumes and accessories. Included with the doll is a family provenance of its original owner, Elizabeth Wace, of Victoria, Canada.
