Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso with chubby shape, brown glass sleep and side-glancing eyes, painted dark curly lashes, single-stroke brows, little button-shaped nose, closed mouth in tiny line smile, blonde mohair wig, jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, painted socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 111 5 (head and limbs). Comments: Germany, circa 1915, the facial model was inspired by the designs of Grace Drayton, mystery maker. Value Points: very rare eight-point jointing of the most endearing googly, delightful Tyrolean costume.
