Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, delicately-painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils of tiny rounded nose, closed mouth with full downcast lips in pouting expression, very full cheeks, brunette hand-tied human hair wig in long ringlet curls, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume comprising linen dress with cutwork embroidered trim, undergarments, socks, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 231 Fany (incised script) DRGM 248/1 A 5 M/ Comments: Marseille, from their art character series, circa 1912. Value Points: rare character with most endearing expression achieved by deeply-modeled fret lines, very fine quality of bisque, original wig, original toddler body with original finish.
