Description
3 1/2" (9 cm.) -4". Each is all-wooden with painted hair and facial features, one with peg-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, wearing original silk dress with pinafore and coiffe; and the other with wooden arms, and a costume whose skirt is designed for use as a pen wiper. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, Grodnertal, circa 1840. Value Points: rare little pair, the silk-gowned lady is in pristine original condition.
