Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading and dark blue iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: very beautiful poupee is wearing her original burgundy silk gown of elaborate construction, ruched detailing and Alencon lace, along with burgundy-ribbon trimmed bonnet, undergarments, stockings, shoes, beautiful early faux-watch, original wig.
