Description
6" (15 cm.) An all-bisque pink pig with wonderfully-depicted grimacing expression gives a piggy-back ride to four all-bisque Brownies inspired by the Palmer Cox illustrations and stories. The Indian rides backward, two others cling to each other, and the fourth frantically hangs on to the backside. The googly eyes are well-rendered in each case, yet rather than being amused, they are depicted as frightened while they hang on for dear life. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1895.
