Of very fine rosewood, the vitrine in the shape of a classic chaise a porteur has domed roof and bombe shaped sides, scalloped shape of window frames, opening front door above two lower drawers, velvet-lined interior, and elaborate bronze mounts and carrying handles. Excellent condition. French, mid-1800s.
