Bisque socket head, very full cheeks and throat, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with glaze-accented and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Tete Depose Paris Bebe 7 (head) Paris Bebe Depose (Paris). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1890. Value Points: outstanding sculpting of the highly-defined features on the rare art character model, finest bisque with delicate complexion, soft mohair wig, original body and body finish, wearing original couturier costume of aqua silk dress and bonnet, undergarments, socks, signed Jumeau black leather shoes.
