8" (20 cm.) Depicting an adult man and woman with hand-painted facial features and applied brunette hair and beard, cloth armature body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Late 19th century, the dolls were presented for toy theatres or miniature rooms. Value Points: wonderfully preserved, wearing very lavish 18th-century style costumes in silk, velvet and lace, with applied faux-jewelry and jewelry.
