Description
14" (36 cm.) Soft mohair wig with arranged curls. Wearing double-layered white net gown with attached taffeta petticoat, matching panties, socks, white side-snap shoes with little bows; the gown has net panniers and is decorated with wide gilt braiding and streamers which match the edging on the stiffened net wings attached to the back of the gown, matched wide gilt coronet, with gilt metal magic wand. Excellent condition, some typical very minor pulls in gown netting. Alexander, Fairy Queen, 1948, rare early presentation of the firm's dolls in the post-war hard plastic medium.
